[Book review] “The Secret Wishlist” by Preeti Shenoy

If you want to read a love story which is fast paced and something which is very engaging, then read this book.

“The Secret Wishlist” is the story of Diksha and his dreams. Diksha was a teenager and lives a normal life. She has her parents and her elder brother Rohan. She has her best friend ‘Tanu’ whom, she love so much and she too adore her. Their friendship bond was very famous. One day some seniors along with her brother rohan came to Diksha’s house so her bag misplaced or she got confused as her was the same as Ankit, one friend of his brother Rohan. She took it, in her room both tanu and diksha checked Ankit’s bag and wrote a note in his notebook. Later they gave that bag to ankit. Ankit found that note in his notebook and call Diksha since then then their bond becomes very strong. During one of their school exhibition, both Diksha and Ankit found kissing and the whole drama got created. Rohan abused dikha and she also got scolded by their parents, result; she has taken out from school and had been entroled to all girls’ college in Chenai. What happens to Ankit and the friendship to tanu and diksha, you will read that in the novel.

Will Diksha can unite with her love? Will Diksha can tick out every thing in her wishlist which she made, on the insistence by her cousin Vibha? Want to know then do read this compelling and engrossing story. 

The story is about childhood crush, and friendship bonds. I love the character of Tanu who have been very supportive as a friend. I also love the character of Gaurav as salsa instructor. Novel covers varius aspects which are very interesting to read.
