My review:-

“Tea for Two and a Piece of Cake” is the most heartwarming and lovely story I have ever read. The story is fantastic, the characters are beautifully crafted, and the dialogues are well written with much effort. I especially loved the conversation between Akash and Nisha. How stunningly the scenes are described in the novel is just so great. I felt very nice after finishing the story. Preeti Shenoy’s writing style always amazes us.

So, the story starts with the travel agency Point-to-Point, where Nisha works. And there is an invitation from Magellan International to go to the party. Parinita, the boss at point-to-point, informs all and tells them to decide who will go among them. So, Akash, a colleague, tells them to draw chits, and whoever comes first will go. So that is how Nisha and Prashant went to the Party. There she meets handsome and suave Sameer Sharma, the CEO of Magellan International. Nisha and Sameer got to know each other, and he offered her a job at his company. At the same time, Nisha got dismissed from point-to-point. She had this great opportunity to work at Magellan International, so she agreed.

On the other hand, she was very happy and quite impressed with Sameer’s personality, and he too likes her as his secretary. Their friendship was growing day by day, and they were getting closer to each other. One day Sameer proposes to Nisha for marriage; of course, she says yes, but after a few months of their marriage, they stop talking to each other as Sameer doesn’t like kids to be around. After a few years, Nisha again got pregnant, but she was also adamant about having her baby. All this while Sameer got close to a girl named Maya, and he decided to leave Nisha by telling her on the phone. Nisha was shattered and left alone with her two kids.

I found Sameer to be a complete jerk who leaves his wife because he doesn’t like children. Their marriage was based on pure lust and nothing else, and it was very superficial. Let me know your thoughts in the comments. Will Nisha find her true love or not? Grab a copy of this novel from my affiliate link.

Ending notes:-

The novel is full of fun and twists. It will make you smile, cry, and laugh out loud. You will cherish a few scenes adorably. The book is gripping and beginner-friendly. There is a lot to this novel; I have summarized the story in this review of mine. I hope you like it. Thank you.
