[Book Review] “After We Collided” By Anna Todd

In “After We Collided”, we pick up the story where we left it in “After”. The novel starts when Tessa Young is going through a lot psychologically. She has traumatic experiences and Hardin Scott, goes through a lot but not more than Tessa. Every time Tessa wants to trust Hardin he does something that breaks Tessa’s trust in him. Hardin is a bad, cruel, and egoistic person in the story. We feel pukish while reading those scenes, but as the story progresses, we see that their anger cools down, and they resolve their conflicts and get together. But still, they face lots of ups and downs in their relationship. We feel hooked to the plot while reading, the novel is that good, Anna Todd has done magic with her writing.

The Novel also reveals a lot about Hardin’s character. Tessa gets to know about Hardin’s past and his mother also comes into the picture. 

Hardin and Tessa are so different from each other but they strongly attract each other despite all the differences.  So, Is Hardin the deep, thoughtful guy Tessa fell madly in love with or is he a stranger all along? Do read this Hot romantic drama which will keep you at the edge of your seat. Get ready to explore one more book in the electrifying Romantic fanfiction series. 

Things i like in the Novel:- 

• Conversations between characters that are actually meaningful.
• Friendship between Tessa and Landon.
• Narration, plot twists, story, and characters, and in general, love the overall vibe of the novel.
• Hardin’s and Landon’s mothers’ roles.
• I devoured the novel completely, Anna Todd is a genius in expressing anything from characters, and love her writing style.

Things i didn’t like in the Novel:-

• Too much effort in making Hardin bad, i mean he can be little good too. 
• Use of too much abuse by Hardin, he is literally abusing in his every talk.
• Fights are not normal in the novel, characters are disrespecting each other, and even hitting elders. 
• I found flaws both in Tessa and Hardin’s characters, which was, that even if they had a fight they can have certain privacy to what they share with each other. She is telling everything to a barely-known person which is so pathetic. Also, Hardin is breaking the trust of Tessa when she trusts him so badly. It feels like Tessa doesn’t know Hardin.
