[Book Review] “A Place Called Home” By Preeti Shenoy

A place called home is the story of Alka, her life struggles, and how she accepts herself entirely and has her pride. After her mother’s demise, she was devastated and didn’t know what to do. But with the help of her great friends, Mansii and Krish, she learns to cope. 

There is a love story you got to read between Alka and Krish but she was not sure of her feelings back then time has its own way of turning things in life. So, Krish married Mansii, and Alka married Krish’s older brother Subbu. So, in what circumstances Krish married to Mansii, and why Alka chose Subbu over Krish? Also, Mansii had a crush on Krish during their college days so it was easy for Krish to fall for Mansii. 

Okay, from which background Alka came, has a lot of things to be made right and she has her identity and pride at stake. What will she do? 

As you know, Subbu and Krish were brothers, so they had their mother with them after their father’s demise and they have their colossal coffee estate with lots of greenery and falls in which they had put so much effort.
